The machines SELENA uses are from brands such as Kreussler, Miele, Bowe, Primus, Veit, and Electrolux. Miele Company, for instance, is well-known all over the world for its quality products like washing and drying machines. One of the reasons for their success is the exceptional technology production of honeycomb drum. It allows reducing the clothes wear-and-tear, during the washing process. As this production technology is patented, you can meet it only in Miele machines.

With product range offered by Kreussler we perfectly match products and procedures that ensure uncompromising cleanliness and hygiene for the different types of laundry in an economic and effective way.
Customers expect their high-quality clothes to be perfectly cleaned as inexpensively as possible and with minimum impact on the environment. We use Kreussler’s textile cleaners dry cleaning detergents, pre spotting and spotting agents, impregnating and finishing agents, leather auxiliary agents as well as products for wet cleaning and for laundry service. These are high-quality products that ensure the best possible cleaning and care of the textiles.
Laundry process includes agitation, rinsing, drying and pressing (ironing). The washing will often be done at a temperature above room temperature to increase the activities of any chemicals used and the solubility of stains, and high temperatures kill micro-organisms that may be present. As we only use European detergents, it is also a guarantee against allergic risk. For instance, our German partner company Kreussler takes over responsibility – for the protection of human health and environment. The majority of their products are produced in such a way that they fulfill stringent, statutory environmental regulations and even go beyond these regulations. And that without giving up best cleaning results.
We work to ensure that any discharges that we make to atmosphere are below the permitted levels and to ensure that perchlorethylen is recycled efficiently.
We continually seek improved energy-efficient processes and equipment. So we work closely with our suppliers to achieve this.
In dry cleaning, the solvent used was typically perchloroethylen. But now, as it does not remove water-based stains well and the solvent isn’t ecologic, SELENA has chosen to develop the wet cleaning process. It is cold-water washing and air drying, using a computer-controlled washer and dryer. Wet cleaning is an excellent solution for wool, leather, sensitive and gentle garments.
